Strangest NYCFL contest Invitation Ever…

This is the invitation to the March 13^th Speech Tournament at Iona Prep.

This tournament is an opportunity for students that are not quite qualified for states to pick up their final quals. This tournament is open only to NYCFL member schools. The categories offered will be:

Original Oratory

JV Oral Interp

V Oral Interp

DUO

Dec

Drama

Congress

(Congress Bills are due on Monday, March 8 – Later Deadline than normal)

This is a barebones contest. Students should bring food. We will provide a light (light) lunch for the judges.

We will run 3 rounds and NO finals.

Double entry WILL be allowed.

Trophies will be given to the top 3 speakers in each category and we will award mugs based on the size of the categories.

Please register sparingly, classroom space is limited.

Judge quotas will be the usual 1 for 5 (entries – not speakers). If you are entering any students in Congress, you must provide 1 student Congress Judge.

Pre-Registration is due to me on Wednesday, March 10.

Registration will be at Iona Prep on Saturday between 9:00am and 9:30am.
